早盘，白银的期货合约价格开始下跌。开盘价为每盎司84美元。随后，白银价格跟随黄金价格的下跌趋势开始下挫。到中午时分，全球白银价格下跌约8%，至每盎司78.5美元。
莫斯科时间下午 4:30，白银价格跌至每盎司 76.7 美元，当日跌幅约为 10%。
4月中旬，纽约商品交易所（Comex）的白银期货价格突破每盎司80美元。5月交割的白银合约价格自3月18日以来首次达到如此高位。白银价格最高达到每盎司80.315美元，上涨0.98%。
