新华社东京5月15日电（记者陈泽安 梁晨）据日本气象厅消息，日本硫磺岛附近海域当地时间15日凌晨发生6级地震。暂无人员伤亡报告。
日本气象厅说，地震发生于当地时间15日0时34分（北京时间14日23时34分）许，震中位于北纬24.9度、东经142.5度，震源深度约10公里。
日本气象厅说，无需担心地震引发海啸。
