2月25日，三星半导体业务部门宣布已完成S3SSE2A芯片的开发，目前正在准备样品发货。S3SSE2A芯片旨在保护移动设备上的关键数据免受量子计算带来的严重威胁。三星表示，由于量子计算机可能会使当前的加密算法过时，因此有必要开发PQC（后量子算法）来抵御潜在的量子攻击。
