黎巴嫩真主党5日发布声明说，5日凌晨，在距离黎巴嫩海岸68海里的海域，真主党使用一枚巡航导弹对一艘正准备袭击黎巴嫩领土的以色列军舰发动了攻击，导弹直接命中目标。据以色列方面消息，以色列国防军当天晚些时候对此消息予以否认。
