国航公布补偿方案

10月18日，由杭州飞往首尔的国航CA139航班在飞行途中，因行李架上一名旅客行李内的锂电池自燃，导致行李舱起火，飞机备降至上海浦东机场。19日晚，南都N视频记者致电国航国际航班客服了解到，该航司将对受影响旅客提供补偿，目前的补偿标准为经济舱旅客每人200元、公务舱旅客每人300元。

China Airlines will provide compensation to passengers after Flight CA139 from Hangzhou to Seoul made an emergency landing on Saturday. The incident was caused by a lithium battery igniting in a passenger's carry-on luggage in the overhead bin, forcing the plane to divert to Shanghai Pudong Airport.

国航国际航班客服回复南都记者，因涉事航班延误，该航司将分别补偿经济舱旅客每人200元、公务舱旅客每人300元。受影响旅客可通过国航App进行查询。如果旅客有其他补偿诉求，可联系国航另行沟通。

According to the airline, economy class passengers will receive 200 yuan each, while business class passengers will be compensated 300 yuan. The carrier stated that passengers with further claims can contact them directly.

南都此前报道，10月18日，国航CA139航班在飞行途中发生行李架起火，中途备降上海。据乘客描述，在航班起飞一段时间后，“突然砰的一声，就看到前面行李架火冒出来了，整个客舱都是烟。”对此，中国国际航空回应称，起火原因系一名旅客存放在行李架上的手提行李内锂电池自燃，机组按程序立即处置，未出现人员受伤。为确保飞行安全，飞机备降上海浦东机场。事发后，国航调配其他飞机，继续执行该航班任务。

The flight was diverted after a "sudden bang" was heard and smoke filled the cabin. The crew followed safety procedures to handle the fire, and no injuries were reported. China Airlines arranged a replacement aircraft to complete the journey for the affected passengers.
