关于Valve代号为“Deckard”的独立VR头显传闻在过去几年里层出不穷，据PC Gamer援引知名Deckard爆料人SadlyItsBradley发布的消息报道，Valve正在美国境内进口用于制造VR头显面部贴合组件的设备，相关设备由Teleray集团提供，这家公司此前曾为Valve Index和惠普G2 Omnicept生产过面部衬垫。
从这位爆料人曝光的货运清单里可以看到，Valve还接收了多批面部衬垫组件。PC Gamer认为，若消息属实，这预示着传闻中的Valve Deckard项目正在推进中，或许即将面世。不过以Valve的“拖延传统”（想想《半条命3》）来看，实际发布时间仍存变数。
