4月1日，随着最后一方混凝土浇筑完成，武汉轨道交通12号线汉口火车站主体结构正式封顶，标志着全线最深、施工风险最高的关键站点取得突破性进展，为后续盾构接收及全线贯通奠定基础。
汉口火车站是全线起点站，为地下三层岛式车站，主体基坑开挖深度达34.9米，是全线37座车站中最深站点。
