在今天举行的新闻发布会上，空军某基地李兰星介绍，在试飞歼-35系列飞机过程中，得益于先进科技手段加持，试验试飞遇到的常规性问题在不断改善，同时平台性能摸边探底更加贴近于实战，作战效能试验试飞比重不断增加。试飞员也从试验试飞专家向武器系统科学家不断转变。（央视军事）
