“8000斤苹果19小时卖光”暖心后续：两地官宣一年内互免门票

“一车苹果，两座城，千里善意，双向奔赴。”近日，湖北群众自发购买陕西商贩苹果的故事感动全网。

"A truckload of apples, two cities, kindness spanning a thousand miles, and a heartfelt mutual dedication." The story of good Samaritans in Hubei province voluntarily buying apples from a fruit vendor from Shaanxi province has recently touched countless netizens across the internet.

今年五一期间，陕西汉中洋县44岁男子吉耀仲拉了满满一车8000余斤苹果来湖北恩施州咸丰县售卖。

During this year's May Day holiday, Ji Yaozhong, a 44-year-old man from Yangxian county in Shaanxi, drove to Xianfeng county in Hubei with a truck fully loaded with over 4,000 kilograms of apples for sale.

高速上，他突然右手无力、言语不畅，不久后身体状况缓解。然而5月2日抵达咸丰后，他病情复发且加重，前往咸丰县中医医院急诊科检查，被确诊为脑梗。

While on the highway, he suddenly felt weakness in his right hand and had difficulty speaking. Though his condition eased slightly soon after, his illness relapsed and worsened upon arriving in Xianfeng on May 2. He went to the emergency room at Xianfeng County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and was diagnosed with cerebral infarction.

医生强烈建议其住院，可他惦记着一车苹果，迟迟不愿入院。当天23时许，经家人反复劝说，他才办理住院手续。经医院全力抢救后，他转危为安。

Doctors strongly advised him to stay at the hospital, yet he hesitated to admit himself, preoccupied with his truckload of unsold apples. It was not until around 11 pm that day, after repeated pleas from his family, that he checked himself into the hospital. Thanks to all-out emergency treatment by the hospital, Ji was out of danger.

5月3日，妻子梁丽丽赶到咸丰，但她不会开车，还需要寸步不离地照看丈夫，这一车苹果陷入了无人售卖的困境。眼看着天气越来越热，再这么放下去，苹果就要变质，对这个遭遇病痛的家庭，无疑是雪上加霜。

On Sunday, his wife Liang Lili rushed to Xianfeng. Unable to drive and needing to look after her husband around the clock, she was left with no one to sell the apples. As the weather grew increasingly hot, the apples would soon go bad if left unsold, dealing an additional blow to the family.

苹果装在车里，气温一高，肯定就坏得快。我们职工有几百人，一个人买几斤，也可以给他们减少很多损失。医院总务科工作人员焦永高看到了这一幕，萌生了这个想法，得到院领导的大力支持。

Worried about the couple's precarious situation, Jiao Yonggao, a staff member from the general services section of the hospital, came up with the idea of having everyone buy a few kilograms of apples before they spoiled in the truck.

医院迅速行动，5月4日14:30，医院宣传科向全院职工发出自愿购买倡议：“患者随车有8000余斤苹果，原计划拖到咸丰售卖，如今因病无法自行售卖”，“请大家本着自愿原则购买，帮这位外地患者减少经济损失、渡过难关”……倡议书一经发出，瞬间在医院内部、朋友圈刷屏，一场爱心接力迅速在咸丰全城铺开。

The hospital acted promptly. At 2:30 pm on Monday, the publicity department of the hospital issued a voluntary purchase initiative to all staff: "We invite all staff to buy apples on a voluntary basis, helping this out-of-town patient reduce his economic losses and get through this difficult time..."

As soon as the initiative was released, it quickly went viral among hospital staff and on WeChat Moments. A heartwarming relay of kindness soon spread across the entire city of Xianfeng.

医院后勤人员主动帮忙，将载满苹果的货车开到医院大门口，搭建起临时爱心售卖点，全程协助搬运、售卖；医院职工纷纷响应，你一箱、我一袋，自发来到售卖点，按照5元/斤的定价自行称重、主动付钱，用实际行动伸出援手。

Hospital logistics staff took the initiative to drive the apple-laden truck to the hospital gate and set up a temporary charity sales booth. Hospital employees responded enthusiastically, coming to the booth one after another — some buying a whole box, others a bag each. They weighed the apples themselves at the set price of 10 yuan ($1.47) per kg and paid voluntarily.

消息传开后，咸丰县的志愿者协会、外卖小哥团队等社会爱心人士也主动加入购买队伍，不仅自己掏钱购买，还积极转发朋友圈扩散消息。市民们纷纷赶来，有人批量购买，有人主动帮忙搬运、吆喝。不少人看到消息后提前预订，凌晨仍有爱心人士前来购买，即使是品相稍差的苹果，也瞬间被“抢购一空”。5月5日9时许，8000余斤苹果全部卖完，共计收入34000多元。

As the news spread, charitable groups in Xianfeng, including volunteer associations and food delivery rider teams, also joined the buying effort. They not only purchased apples themselves but also shared the news on their social media feeds. Local citizens flocked to the scene; some bought in bulk, while others volunteered to carry goods and help promote the sale. Many reserved apples in advance after seeing the news, and some kind-hearted residents came to buy them in the early hours of the following morning. Even apples of slightly lower quality were sold out in no time. By around 9 am on Tuesday, all of the apples had been sold, generating over 34,000 yuan in revenue.

“如果没有咸丰中医院以及那么多热心市民帮忙售卖，我至少要损失好几万元。”吉耀仲感动地说。

"I would have lost at least tens of thousands of yuan without the help of the hospital and so many warm-hearted local residents," said Ji.

妻子梁丽丽感动地说：“咸丰人实在是太有爱心了，好多人都来帮忙。”她回忆，有人帮忙抬东西、搭台子卖苹果，有外卖小哥免费给客户送苹果，工作人员也一直在召集人来买。“很感激咸丰的所有人在我最困难的时候对我的帮助和支持。”

His wife Liang said, "The people of Xianfeng are incredibly kind-hearted, and so many came to give us a hand." She added that many people helped carry goods and set up the sales stall, some food delivery riders delivered purchased apples to customers free of charge, and hospital staff kept encouraging more people to buy. "I am deeply grateful to everyone in Xianfeng for their help and support when we were at our most difficult moment."

5月6日，陕西洋县在网上公开发布致湖北恩施的一封信。信中提到，为回馈咸丰人民的深情厚谊，深化两地人文交流，自2026年5月7日起，洋县所有收费景区面向湖北省恩施州市民实行一年内免门票政策。

On Wednesday, Yangxian county released an open letter to Enshi Tujia and Miao autonomous prefecture, which administers Xianfeng. To repay the friendship of the people of Xianfeng and deepen the relationship between the two places, the letter announced that all scenic spots in Yangxian would offer one-year free entry to residents of Enshi, starting from Thursday.

接到隔空喊话后，5月7日一早，湖北咸丰迅速回应：咸丰县所有收费景区自2026年5月7日起，面向陕西省汉中市洋县居民实行一年免门票政策。

Responding to this gesture, Xianfeng made a reciprocal announcement early on Thursday, matching the free scenic spot admission gift.

5月7日晚，这份温情再度升级。恩施文旅公众号发布消息，恩施州向整个陕西省汉中市（包括汉台区、南郑区、城固县、洋县、西乡县、勉县、宁强县、略阳县、镇巴县、留坝县、佛坪县）推出文旅优惠政策。

The warmth grew even stronger on the evening of Thursday. The official WeChat account of Enshi Culture and Tourism released a notice that Enshi prefecture would launch a cultural and tourism preferential policy covering the entire city of Hanzhong, which administers Yangxian county.

8日上午，汉中文旅也迅速作出回应，面向湖北恩施州（包括恩施市、利川市、巴东县、建始县、咸丰县、来凤县、宣恩县、鹤峰县）推出相应的文旅优惠政策。

On the morning of Friday, Hanzhong Culture and Tourism authorities rolled out preferential policies for Enshi prefecture.

有网友评论道：“一车苹果，两座城，千里善意，双向奔赴。你帮我渡过难关，我邀你免票畅游。这就是中国人骨子里的善良：不说漂亮话，只做实在事。为爱点赞，为两地人民鼓掌！”

买的是苹果，传递的是对陌生人的一份爱心。原来，人情并未走远，善良一直都在。为这份平凡的感动点赞！
