10月29日，WTT蒙彼利埃冠军赛女单1/16决赛的赛场上战况激烈。在其中一场对决里，中国选手蒯曼与韩国选手金娜英展开较量，最终蒯曼以2 - 3惜败，五局比分依次为8 - 11、11 - 5、11 - 6、6 - 11、5 - 11。而在另外一场比赛中，王艺迪发挥出色，以3比1击败早田姬娜。
