据时代周报，5月19日，时代周报实地探访了小米汽车工厂。在一期工厂内，数百辆颜色各异的小米SU7车型整齐排列，几十辆大型卡车忙着装车外运。二期工厂仍在建设，不过已处于收尾状态。在二期工厂大门外，一位施工人员表示，“应该能在六月中旬竣工。”（时代周报）
