北京时间2月19日，足联官方表示山东泰山退出对阵蔚山的比赛，被视为退出亚冠。
而截至发稿前，在亚足联官网中，本场比赛的状态仍为“推迟（Postponed）”而并非取消。
亚足联官网的积分榜也并未因泰山的退赛而取消此前所有比赛成绩，目前仍然维持赛前的原状。
