交汇点讯 2022年4月10日6时56分，随着“开机”指令的下达，由中铁七局集团第三工程有限公司承建的南京地铁七号线省二院站至南湖路站盾构区间右线顺利始发，标志着该项目所有施工工序全部开启。
省南区间为全地下盾构区间，设计起终点里程左DK11+708.000～DK12+455.900，总长度747.900m。盾构隧道从省第二中医院站始发后沿南湖路向北敷设，依次下穿南湖东河、南湖路2号桥、南湖北河及南湖路1号桥后到达南湖路与水西门大街交叉处的南湖路站接收吊出，区间设置一处联络通道。
