袁大头市场极为少见.特别是九年的袁大头．正面：“造”字是竖点告，国字第二笔不带勾，肩章的框和杠是粗线条与其它年号的肩章明显不同，袁像前襟处均缺一小内齿。背面：与“壹”字下一横平行的一颗禾粒是直粗芒或弯粗芒，提勾圆，嘉禾局部浅打，以右中部明显，一些禾粒若现若隐，使嘉禾显得稀松。
