5月13日，在印度举行的2026年亚洲举重锦标赛男子65公斤级比赛中，中国选手何岳基发挥出色，以抓举146公斤、挺举183公斤、总成绩329公斤的成绩，包揽三枚金牌，并打破该级别挺举和总成绩世界纪录。
在当日进行的女子53公斤级比赛中，中国选手赵金兰六次试举全部成功，以抓举95公斤、挺举121公斤、总成绩216公斤的成绩，同样包揽3枚金牌。
