当地时间5月12日，俄罗斯总统普京听取了有关“萨尔马特”洲际弹道导弹系统成功试射的汇报。俄罗斯战略火箭军司令卡拉卡耶夫表示，导弹测试已证明其预定性能指标全部达标。首个配备“萨尔马特”导弹的导弹团将于今年年底前在乌茹尔导弹师投入战斗值班。
