据日本政府消息人士称，台积电计划在其位于日本熊本的工厂量产3纳米先进芯片，投资约 170 亿美元。
消息人士称，日本已向台积电提供补贴，以提升其在熊本南部地区工厂的芯片制造能力，目前日本政府还在考虑为新的投资计划提供更多支持。
