美国密歇根大学消费者信心指数 8 月终值为 58.2，较 7 月的 61.7 下滑 5.7%，年率下降 14.3%，为近三个月最低。当前经济状况指数降至 61.7，预期指数为 55.9。报告指出，通胀担忧拖累耐用品购买意愿至一年低点，短期与长期通胀预期分别升至 4.8% 与 3.5%。
