7月29日，有市场消息称，索尼近日以侵犯版权及商标权起诉腾讯，指控腾讯新游《荒野起源》涉嫌抄袭《地平线：零之曙光》。一位腾讯互动与娱乐事业群内部人士向《每日经济新闻》记者表示：“的确听说了这个事情，不过当前我们一切工作都在正常推进中，估计会让法务处理这个事件。”
