当一个学年结束，老师们将通过怎样的方式让学生展示自己的学习成果，同时能让更多的人参与进来呢？

哈罗海口高年级中文组精心策划了这样的一场学科成果展，让学生、老师、家长都参与其中，以语文学科的课文为主要载体，以展板和摊位为核心要素的文人椰市。

When an academic year comes to an end, what are some ways in which teachers can allow students to showcase their learning and at the same time be able to engage a wider audience? The Chinese team at Harrow Haikou Upper School has planned a subject achievement exhibition. The exhibition, called the Literati Market, uses articles from Chinese textbooks as the main theme, with display boards and stalls as the core elements to engage students, teachers, and parents.

活动创意设计和初衷

本次活动参加者为五年级到初二年级所有同学，内容丰富涵盖面广。课本内容+名著阅读+外籍学生中华传统游戏展位。

学生每4人为一组，选择自己本学年最喜欢的一篇课文进行创意展板设计，同时要开一家主题相关的小店铺。展板上呈现的是和这篇课文学术性相关的信息，小店铺则体现与现实生活的关联。

这个活动的设计体现了语文学科核心素养全覆盖。从展板的设计，筛选材料，到进行装饰展板，到购买一些店铺所需的用品，再到参观日向来往人群介绍自己的店铺，充分提升了学生在语言运用、思维提升、审美创造的能力，在介绍的过程中也体现了文化自信。同时，在准备以及布展的过程中还训练了学生诸如团队合作等能力。

《落日工程中转站_VR密室视觉体验馆》Y8

《带上她的眼睛》是刘慈欣的短篇科幻作品，想象丰富。学生根据内容加以改编，分工明确，效率极高。Atticus和Jason主要进行采购和制作，在初期就设计好采购用品，以及需要准备的密室逃脱纸箱。活动现场，Atticus 和Jason主要负责美食部分。而Sean负责视频拍摄与设计，之后帮忙维护现场，参与纸箱的制作。Tim设计解密游戏的流程和计划，备好了密码箱、锁、到场相关服饰，以及展板的大部分设计。每一个成员都为此付出了极大的努力，也收获了成果与美好回忆。

《海底漫游》Y9

学生们围绕《海底两万里》主要路线设计展板：以鹦鹉螺号的行走路线为基准，从太平洋出发，经过珊瑚岛、印度洋、红海、地中海、进入大西洋、最后到达南极。

设计形式：一个站点一道题，大致介绍尼莫船长以及它的船员都做了哪些，答对一题积一分，最后以积分换奖品。

准备过程：小组成员在准备中多次遇到问题，但没有气馁，而是商量解决问题的的最佳办法。为他们的拼搏精神点赞。

最具文化味

《红楼春趣》Y6

《红楼春趣》选自五年级下册的第八课，主要讲述宝钗、黛玉放风筝的故事。同学们对揭示宝钗、黛玉命运的诗歌“可叹停机德，堪怜咏絮才。玉带林中挂，金簪雪里埋。”进行细节分析；接着引出金陵十二钗的人物，对人物外貌、性格、判词进行细致分析。同时，同学们还加入了红楼梦中人物经常玩的射覆游戏，其他参与者可以通过翻开小碗解答碗内疑题，赢得小奖品，在这个活动中仿佛穿入书本中，感受到了书中人物的人生，学生说这种把书本和现实连接的体验着实令人回味无穷。

《最炫民族风》Y9

《最炫民族风》展位是通过课文《安塞腰鼓》引发对民俗文化的探究。

表现形式新颖活泼，丰富多彩。不仅让人了解民俗文化，更主要通过服饰、表演及介绍让人有一种身临其境之感。同时还设置了有奖问答环节，让大家都能参与其中，奖品丰富。

小组四个成员倾尽全力做了充分的准备，特别是安塞腰鼓表演环节几个成员还多次练习，最重要的是小组成员团结一致，充分体现团队合作精神。他们是最棒的！

《童年时的回忆》Y7

这个摊位的出处为课文《竹节人》，写的是传统玩具“竹节人”的制作过程和玩儿的乐趣，Amy等四名同学从中得到启发，在“童年时的回忆”的摊位上带领大家体验传统玩具和零食的美。他们四人积极准备，设计了很有艺术感又内容充实的展板，买了拖肥、一根葱、糖角等零食和铁皮青蛙、竹节人和滚铁环等玩具，还手绘了竹节人和铁皮青蛙，并且将它们打印过塑后制作成一张张小卡片在活动当天送给参观者。

《木兰手作坊》Y8A

《木兰手作坊》的创意来自于《木兰诗》。讲述的是木兰替父从军的经典故事，学生们围绕这个主题进行了创意改编，既有丰富的知识性问答，也有现场手工制作。小组成员们积极参与其中。先是共同讨论活动主题后采购了物资，之后进行了整理和统计。 四位同学分别负责海报和展板的相关设计，包含了涂色、构图、剪纸、写字等。整个团队展现了哈罗勇气、荣誉、谦和、互助的价值观。

《周敦颐花店》Y8B

学生们从《爱莲说》中获得灵感，设计了“周敦颐花店”的摊位。展板内容关于中国文学作品中的“名花”诸如菊花、莲花、梅花等，对这些花的文学内涵、象征意义进行了梳理。摊位活动的设计也都紧紧围绕“诗词中的花”进行：背诵三首与花有关的完整的诗词，可以得到古典团扇一把；背诵三句和花有关的诗词，可以得到手工折花一朵；背诵一句和花有关的诗词，可以得到纸折蝴蝶一只……参观者如果有雅兴，还可以现场在空白扇子上作画。值得一提的是，团扇上的花都是这几位同学手绘然后染色的，非常精美，很有纪念意义。

“在这次‘文人椰市’语文展览中，我所在的‘大鱼海棠’小组以课文《北冥有鱼》为原型，结合《大鱼海棠》这部电影进行展示。活动初期，我们因缺乏有效分工而显得手忙脚乱，导致一时间我们的摊位前只有几个人。然而，在组长Laura的引导下，我们团结协作，共同进行讲解和介绍，成功吸引了众多观众。这次经历让我深刻理解到团队合作的力量，以及分工与协作的重要性。”

Introduction to creative design for the event

The event was attended by all students from Y6 to Y9 and covered a wide range of topics, including textbook content, reading of classic books, and a traditional Chinese game booth for foreign students.

In groups of four, students chose their favourite text to design a creative display board, and at the same time, they had to open a small shop related to the theme. The display board presents information that is academically relevant to the text, while the small shop reflects the relevance to real life.

This activity is designed to reflect the core elements of the Chinese language subject. From designing the display boards, selecting the materials, decorating the boards, purchasing some supplies needed for the shops, and introducing their shops to the visitors, the students' abilities in language use, thinking and aesthetic creation were fully enhanced, and the process of introduction also reflected their cultural self-confidence. At the same time, the process also trained students in teamwork and other skills. (The table below shows 32 booths and their related texts)

VR Chamber Visual Experience

Wearing Her Eyes is a short science fiction piece by Liu Cixin. The students adapted it to the content, dividing up the work and being extremely efficient. Atticus and Jason were mainly responsible for purchasing and production. At the event, Atticus and Jason worked on the food section. Sean was in charge of the video shooting and design, and then helped to maintain the site and participate in the production of the cardboard boxes, while Tim designed the flow and plan of the escape game, prepared the combination box, locks, and costumes, and most of the design of the display boards. Each member put in great efforts for this, and also harvested the results and good memories.

Y9A Ocean Adventure

The students designed the display boards around the main route of Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea: starting in the Pacific Ocean, travelling through the Coral Islands, the Indian Ocean, the Red Sea, the Mediterranean Sea, into the Atlantic Ocean, and finally to the Antarctic.

Students designed a question for each station that broadly described Captain Nemo and what his crew did, earning one point for a correct answer and trading points for prizes at the end.

Team members encountered problems several times in preparation, but instead of getting discouraged, they discussed the best way to solve the problem.

Y6B Spring Fun in the Red Mansion

Spring Fun in the Red Mansion is a text for Grade 5 students, which focuses on the story of Baochai and Daiyu flying kites. The students analysed the poems revealing the fate of Baochai and Daiyu; they then introduced the characters of the twelve women in the book, and analysed the characters' appearances, personalities, and the relevant poems in detail. At the same time, the students devised a traditional game often played by the characters in the book, where other participants could answer questions and win small prizes. The students enjoyed the game very much.

Y9A Ethnic Style Display

The booth of Ethnic Style is designed to explore the folk culture triggered by the text Ansai Waist Drum Dance. This booth is rich in form, not only letting people learn about folk culture, but also making it more immersive mainly through costumes, performances and presentations. Meanwhile, there was also a quiz session with prizes, so that everyone could participate in it.

The four members of the group made full preparation, especially for the performance session. They practised many times and fully demonstrated the spirit of teamwork. They are the best!

Y7A Childhood Memories

Inspired by the text Bamboo Man, which describes the process of making and playing with traditional toys, four students, including Amy, designed a booth to bring the beauty of traditional toys and snacks to the public. The four of them actively prepared for the event by designing an artistic and informative display board, buying snacks such as toffee and traditional candies, and toys such as tin frogs, bamboo man and rollers, as well as making small cards to give to visitors on the day of the event.

Y8A Mulan Workshop

The idea for this booth came from The Mulan Ballad, a text that tells the classic story of Mulan's journey to the army in his father's place. The students prepared a wealth of intellectual quizzes around this theme as well as on-the-spot crafts. The group members were actively involved. Firstly, they purchased the materials after discussing the theme of the event together, and then organised and counted them afterwards. Four students were responsible for the design of posters and display boards. The whole team demonstrated Harrow's values of courage, honour, humility and mutual support.

Y8B Zhou Dunyi Florist

Inspired by Ode to Lotus Lovers, the students designed the stall of Zhou Dunyi Florist. The display boards featured famous flowers from Chinese literature such as the chrysanthemum, lotus and plum blossom, introducing the literary connotations and symbolism of these flowers. Activities at the stall were also designed to focus on flowers in poems. For example, visitors who recited three complete poems related to flowers could get a classical fan. Visitors also had the opportunity to paint on a blank fan. It is worth mentioning that the flowers on the fans were all hand-painted and then coloured by these students, which is very beautiful and memorable.

"As a parent, I was very proud of my child's group for winning the best booth at the Subject Achievement Exhibition. The feeling of the whole event can be described in one word - surprise! Firstly, I was thrilled by the creativity and hard work displayed by the children, who showed the richness of their learning in Chinese through their well-designed display boards, beautiful handicrafts and lively demonstrations. Secondly, the event provided parents with an opportunity to learn more about what their children were learning. Most importantly, this activity was a great way to stimulate the children's interest and enthusiasm in the subject.

"Tim and his group members gathered together for three consecutive weeks to complete the planning, preparation, and production of the whole project, making them more confident and motivated to learn and explore project-based learning. In the future, I also hope that the school will continue to organise more activities like this to provide a platform for children to express their creativity, showcase their talents and collaborate their efforts. I also look forward to more such opportunities to participate in the children's learning journey. Thanks!"

"In this exhibition, my group presented a display based on the text Fish in the North in conjunction with the film Big Fish & Begonia. At the beginning of the activity, we were very overwhelmed by the lack of effective work division, resulting in only a few people in front of our booth at one time. However, under the guidance of Laura, our group leader, we worked together as a team and successfully attracted a large number of visitors. This experience made me deeply understand the power of teamwork and the importance of division of labour and collaboration."
