西班牙众议院宣布最终通过允许安乐死的法律。
声明称：
“参议院审议时对法案的修订被批准后，众议院会议以202票赞成、141票反对、2票弃权的通过安乐死法律。”
声明指出，安乐死法将在西班牙《国家官方公报》刊登3个月后生效。
安乐死（Euthanasia）一语源自于希腊语“美丽的死”，又称安乐术，或称怜杀（Mercykilling）。
