据instant gaming报道，Aspyr在重新推出《指环王：北方战争》后表示，未来还将带来更多该系列经典游戏的重新发行。
Aspyr是一家专注于游戏重制与复刻的美国工作室，本周刚刚为《指环王：北方战争》推出了经过一定调整的版本，并登陆主机与PC平台。
在本次游戏发售公告中，Aspyr表示，《指环王》系列未来还会有“更多经典作品”重新推出。不过，工作室目前尚未公布具体是哪几款游戏。
目前尚不清楚Aspyr下一步会选择哪些作品。不过，《指环王：The Return of the King》《指环王：The Battle for Middle-earth》以及《指环王：The Third Age》等作品，都是粉丝较为关注的经典游戏。
