Spears表示：“迪班萨在联合试训期间与奇才进行了会面，消息人士称，奇才预计将在华盛顿与多位状元候选人会面。此外，迪班萨还与爵士、公牛、国王、篮网、老鹰、独行侠、灰熊、快船进行了会面。”
以上这9支球队手握今年选秀前九顺位的选秀权，而此前奇才总经理曾表示球队可能会考虑向下交易选秀权。
