5月12日下午3时许，防城港市港口区一辆失控的小汽车掉下一个平台，砸中一辆小汽车，还砸断一根电线杆，电线杆又插进一辆小汽车。事故导致附近居民区停电，现场没有人员伤亡。事发后，当地供电部门第一时间派出力量进行抢修。
