大连医科大学Shu-Zhuang Li、Chun-Li Zhao、Shao Li、Song-Yu Guo等人发现，维生素K2对秀丽隐杆线虫的作用呈浓度依赖，低浓度（5 μM）维生素K2能显著延长线虫寿命、改善运动能力、保护肠道屏障并减少衰老相关的脂褐素积累；高浓度（10 μM）则产生毒性并缩短寿命。进一步研究显示，适宜浓度维生素K2可通过激活JNK-1/SIR-2.1/DAF-16信号轴，维持线粒体形态、降低活性氧水平、提升ATP含量和线粒体膜电位，从而增强线虫抗应激能力并延缓衰老。
