5月9日，四川宜宾范先生在家中准备出门工作时，用于管道漏水检测的气瓶突然爆炸。10日，范先生表示原装标准阀门损坏漏气后，他图便宜购买了15元的低价阀门替换，不料引发事故。
爆炸威力巨大，家中摄像头被震晃动，范先生双手发麻，脸一侧头发烧煳，眼睫毛与眉毛被烧没，牛仔裤也被戳破。范先生自认疏忽，提醒同行务必按标准匹配配件。
