2026年1月19日，大象新闻记者从信阳市交通运输工作会议上获悉，2025年，信阳市出台《信阳市2025年水运集装箱运输专项奖补资金实施办法》，大力发展“公转铁”“公转水”，加快多式联运项目建设，信阳港年度累计完成货物吞吐量1055.7万吨，同比增长94%；年度累计完成集装箱3.6万标箱。
