海上山东很神奇｜海马爸爸育儿经：从难以成活到1年生育500万只 年产值超4000万元

齐鲁网·闪电新闻9月17日讯这个世界上，真的有一种生物生育带娃全靠爹！海马爸爸，堪称动物界的“模范丈夫”。妈妈把卵产进爸爸的育儿袋里，经历大约一个月的“怀胎”，最后由爸爸一口气把宝宝“喷射”出来。作为一种传统名贵中药，海马市场需求很大，野生资源却严重枯竭。但人工养殖风险高、投入大，国内外没有成功先例可循。

2014年，借助澳大利亚海马原种，威海银泽生物科技股份有限公司开启了人工养殖海马的探索。经历近10年努力，终于成为全国单体规模最大的海马繁育养殖基地、北方首家海马规模化养殖企业，每年产出500多万尾海马宝宝，占据国内市场40%份额，并将海马养殖技术推广到天南海北。2024年，威海银泽生物的海马全链条产业年产值超4000万元。

从澳洲到山东，从实验室到生产线，这群“爸爸生娃”的小生物，正通过山东海洋人的托举游向更广阔的世界。

There's one creature on Earth where pregnancy and childcare are all on dad. Yep, it's the seahorse! Daddy seahorses are such awesome “model husbands”of the animal kingdom. The female deposits her eggs into the male’s brood pouch. After about one month of “pregnancy”, it's the dad who gives birth to hundreds of tiny seahorses! Seahorses are highly prized in traditional Chinese medicine, creating immense market demand, yet wild populations have severely declined. However, artificial breeding comes with high risks and substantial investment, with no successful precedents available domestically or internationally.

In 2014, leveraging seahorse species from Australia, Weihai Yinze Biotechnology Co., Ltd. embarked on the journey of artificial seahorse breeding. After nearly ten years of effort, the company has become the largest single-site seahorse breeding base in the countryand the first large-scale commercial seahorse company in Northern China. It now produces over 5 million baby seahorses annually, capturing 40% of the domestic market, and has extended seahorse breeding techniques far and wide. In 2024, its annual output value of the complete seahorse industry chain exceeded 40 million yuan.

From Australia to Shandong, from the lab to production lines, the pioneering work of Shandong's marine experts is launching these incredible creatures -where dads give birth- onto the global stage.
