8月6日是成都世运会第一个比赛日，13:30开赛的软式曲棍球男子团体预赛小组赛中，中国男子软式曲棍球队亮相成都世运会赛场，对阵芬兰队。中国男子软式曲棍球队也成为参加本届世运会的中国体育代表团中首支亮相的队伍！
