清明追思，有一种怀念叫“铁生不在了”。作家余华、莫言当年带史铁生一起打球偷瓜，余华多次在节目与访谈中提及故友，一句句“铁生不在了”感动网友。写过《我与地坛》的史铁生曾说：“我没死，全靠友谊。（余华）他不把我当残疾人，也不把我当人”。
