近日，海南三亚陵水土福湾嘉佩乐酒店发生一起盗窃及港币调包事件，引发热议。受害者胡女士入住该酒店后，首日即失窃一万港币，后发现余款一万在澳门被调包成假币，致其遭警方审讯遣返。警方介入后，于8月15日抓获酒店员工黄某某为嫌疑人。9月21日，嫌犯家属归还了两万港币给胡女士。截至目前，酒店方尚未就此事公开表态。
