这枚金牌是本届中国体育代表团的第37枚金牌。本届奥运会，国乒包揽了全部5金！
值得一提的是，这枚金牌也刚好是中国代表团在夏季奥运会夺得的第300枚金牌，自1984年许海峰拿下奥运首金以来，中国代表团筚路蓝缕，历经40年终于拿到了第300枚金牌，祝贺中国代表团！
