现年54岁的张立华是河北省迁安市五重安镇马井子村的一名普通农民，2010年成为长城保护员，至今已有12年。到了冬季，张立华每两三天就要带上登山杖、望远镜等设备，到长城上走一走，转一转。
夏日酷暑难耐，冬季寒风刺骨，但张立华乐在其中，能够见证长城的四季变化，为保护文化遗产尽一份力，他感到非常自豪。
