环球网日前消息，据美联社报道，非洲疾控中心（CDC）主任约翰?肯格松24日称，尼日利亚似乎出现了另一种变异新冠病毒，且与英国和南非（发现的）不同。他说，尼日利亚疾控中心和相关机构将分析更多的样本，“给我们点时间”。恩肯加松还称，虽然这种变异新冠病毒的传播速度很快，病毒载量也更高，但目前尚不清楚它是否会导致更严重的疾病。
