8月27日，铠侠控股首席执行官太田裕雄表示，铠侠与合作伙伴闪迪计划未来6年在日本投资超过5万亿日元（约314亿美元）扩大存储芯片产能，其中铠侠计划投资约1.8万亿日元在岩手县北上市新建工厂，生产面向AI数据中心的高密度3D NAND闪存芯片。铠侠表示，将与闪迪寻求日本政府补贴。
