阿拉巴马州谢菲尔德（WHNT）——新闻19台了解到，谢菲尔德市长布莱恩·范德文德因突发疾病后，目前正在范德比尔特大学医疗中心接受治疗。
谢菲尔德消防队长马特·马瑟谢德称，他们在周一晚上10点15分左右接到急救电话，范德文德随即被送去了海伦·凯勒医院。
55岁的范·德文德后来被直升机送到了范德比尔特大学医学中心。
他目前的情况还不清楚。
