一名也门安全官员19日称，当晚在也门南部港口城市亚丁，也门政府的安全部队向试图冲击总统府的反政府示威者开火，并进行驱散。
另据消息人士说，总统府卫队也对示威者进行了实弹射击。这些示威者支持已经宣布解散的地方势力南方过渡委员会。
