11月19日上午，男子110米栏预赛在广东奥林匹克体育中心的跑道上进行。
男子110米栏项目中，上海此前蝉联八届冠军。上午进行的预赛中，上海共派出谢文骏、徐卓一、陈圆将和秦伟搏四名运动员参赛。
最终，徐卓一以13秒26的成绩排名第一晋级决赛，陈圆将与秦伟搏分列第4、5名，老将谢文骏则止步预赛，遗憾告别。
