四川自古以来就是农业大省，有“天府之国”的盛名。近年来，四川省以高标准农田建设为抓手，持续加大科技投入，实现了“吨粮田”的突破性跨越。
在四川泸县再生稻示范基地，目前正在收割的再生稻亩产超过了300公斤，中稻亩产700公斤以上，两季水稻每亩总产量超过1000公斤，成为名副其实的“吨粮田”。
