伦敦时间10月16日，FE电动方程式与国际汽联宣布，经国际汽联世界汽车运动理事会会议批准，中国三亚市正式加入第十二赛季（2025/26）的赛历。FE电动方程式将重返三亚，进行第十二赛季第11回合的比赛，这也是该锦标赛自第五赛季（2018/19）赛后首次重返三亚。
