It means a lot, many thanks!

Reading your letter is like seeing you in person, filling our hearts with warmth. Recently, we received a heartfelt letter of gratitude from the parents of a current student. In it, the parents recounted their child's growth over the past three years and expressed sincere appreciation for the hard work of every teacher.
The letter brought great surprise and joy to our Principal Liu Shujing, who responded promptly with a letter of her own. She expressed her gratitude and emphasized that it was the seamless cooperation and mutual understanding between home and school that nurtured the child's progress and blossoming.
Soon after, Principal Liu received another letter from the parents, in which they mentioned being deeply moved by their visit to the renovated campus after the summer break. "I still remember that parent-teacher conference when you told the children about the campus renovation and upgrade plans. When I discussed it with my child that night, I was amazed at how you had fulfilled everything you promised in just a few months..."
Indeed, the principal's promises stem from truly "listening" to the children, while the school's efforts have been duly "recognized" by the parents and students.
This reciprocal response is incredibly precious and touching. We are deeply grateful and feel an even greater sense of responsibility. Only by nurturing every child with more dedicated companionship and warmer care can we live up to this trust placed in us.
As Teacher's Day approaches, we would also like to extend our gratitude to every "gardener"—both teachers and parents. It is your joint presence that makes this fertile ground of education even more vibrant and evergreen throughout the seasons.

Dear Teachers of OCAC:
Hello!
We are the parents of E, and we are writing this letter today with immense joy and gratitude.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the school. Thank you for creating such a thoughtful, inclusive, and inspiring educational environment where every child can be seen and valued. We would also like to extend our special gratitude to every teacher who has nourished our child's soul:
Thank you, Mr. Bernardo, for spotting E's strengths in her daily reading assignments, encouraging her to participate in English speeches at the theater, and organizing SmallTalk sessions to help her express herself bravely and find her own voice.
Thank you, Ms. Tang (Humanities Teacher), for always supporting our child unconditionally with a gentle international flair. Whether it was in the humanities classroom, during the CP project exhibition, or on the WSC Scholar's Cup stage, your companionship and guidance have made you the "ultimate hero" in our child's heart.
Thank you, Mr. Dai (Humanities History Teacher), for guiding our child to pay attention to current affairs and news with an IB mindset and a long-term learning perspective. You provided thoughtful advice during the CP project and accompanied them in conducting an in-depth interview.
Thank you, Ms. Wang (Ethics and Law Teacher), for sending reward notes on the MB every few days, which have become a delightful and heartwarming little joy between us and our child.
Thank you, Mr. Darren (Humanities Teacher), for teaching history with a holistic worldview, which has deeply fascinated E. She often exclaims, "Why are there so few humanities classes in a week?"
Thank you, Mr. Song (Geography Teacher), for always providing our child with humanistic care beyond academics. You have consistently helped her relieve stress and told her, "You are already excellent; there's no need to pursue perfection."
Thank you, Mr. Alex (Art Performance Teacher), for your infinite tolerance and inclusiveness, allowing E to call you "Mr. Banana" without restraint and building a trusting and relaxed teacher-student friendship.
Thank you, the stunning Ms. Rong (Art Performance Teacher), for giving meticulous advice on every detail, from costume selection to nodding gestures during hosting, making our child feel the warmth of being valued.
Thank you, Mr. Liang (Design Teacher), for encouraging her to design her ideas into works and consistently motivating her to share and showcase her creations.
Thank you, Ms. Jiang (Art Teacher), for guiding her to write in-depth art appreciations with a university professor-like teaching style.
Thank you, Ms. Cui (Math Teacher), for your sincere and generous praise, calling our children "kids" in such a warm and refreshing way. Thank you, Ms. Ma (Math Teacher), for providing long-term advice from the perspective of future college admissions and telling her, "Just keep up with the pace." Thank you, Ms. Gu (Math Teacher), for your extremely humorous and interactive teaching style that instantly engages the children in the classroom.
Thank you, Ms. Shen (Biology Teacher), for reminding everyone to understand concepts while paying attention to the accumulation of English terminology from a young age, and for taking the children to experience the hands-on fun of dissection experiments.
Thank you, Mr. Terrett (English Teacher), for your appreciation of British and American literature, your unique seminar teaching method that encourages questions and focuses on depth, enabling our child to break through herself, enjoy the process of asking high-quality questions, challenging herself, adapting, and experiencing the sense of accomplishment brought by dopamine release.
Thank you, Mr. Meng (Physical Education Teacher), for teaching with the approach of "experience first, then rules," and for humbly saying to E, "Now I can't even beat you at table tennis," protecting and inspiring her love for sports.
Thank you to the library teachers whose names we don't even know, for encouraging the children to borrow books and read, and for giving them gifts to motivate them.
Thank you, Ms. Yang (Physics Teacher), for dispelling our prejudice that "girls may not love physics" with your wonderful enlightenment. Thank you, Ms. Jin, for deepening the subject's interest with your gentle and professional explanations and experiments.
Thank you, Ms. Huang (MYP Coordinator), for your meticulous coordination and assistance over the past three years, from in-school tiered support to off-campus recommendation letters and even working late into the night to write us sincere recommendations. Your solid support during the CP exhibition moved us deeply.
Thank you, Mrs. Wang (School Bus Attendant), for always greeting us with a big smile and responsibly picking up, dropping off, and ensuring our safety every day.
Thank you, teachers, for providing various platforms and opportunities for our child to learn and grow: volunteering, setting up stalls for charity sales, team competitions, open day promotions... Thank you, Ms. Wang, for your insightful suggestions on revising E's presentation PPT for open days, making the entire sharing structure more substantial and IB-oriented, and encouraging her to be a student ambassador and share more.
Thank you, Ms. Wang (Chinese Teacher), for protecting our child's reading habits like a guardian angel. "Go read, go feel" has given us the confidence to let go of practice and embrace true Chinese language learning. Each reward bookmark is an accumulation of recognition.
Thank you, Ms. Lv (Homeroom Teacher), for your high-quality companionship and letting go over the past three years, giving our child space to plan and organize activities on her own while always providing support and trust behind the scenes. OCAC cultural and creative products you prepared for the children are also incredibly cute.
Thank you, Principal's Assistant, for coming to ask our child for suggestions, ideas, and expectations regarding the school's future development as soon as she arrived at the school, and for chatting with her about her favorite literary works, making her feel that her voice has been heard.
Thank you, Ms. Xu (Secondary School Teacher), for being incredibly patient in answering all the questions our family had before entering higher secondary school and providing insightful advice on summer vacation plans.
Thank you, Principal Liu, for arranging a face-to-face meeting with our family and taking out the book "The Narrow Gate," which our child had mentioned casually, to discuss right away. In that moment, we could see the smile on our child's lips and the light in her eyes when she felt valued. Throughout the conversation, you always made our child the main subject of communication, with gentle and firm eyes.
There are too many teachers and details to enumerate one by one, but E remembers every act of kindness, and we are deeply grateful. It is your educational philosophy and warmth that have given her infinite motivation and energy over the past three years. You always ignite the fire in her heart at the most opportune moment; in the way she loves best.
At the beginning of the new semester, we are also delighted to see many positive changes on campus: the design of the new gate, the upgrade of the library and coffee bar, all of which are refreshing. On the first day of school, the teacher introductions in the theater, Ms. Jin's sharing in the classroom the importance of giving children's brains a rest and not overloading them with information, and encouraging parents and children to adapt to the senior high school rhythm together... all of this made us feel grounded and reassured.
In the past few days, we have seen the project-based learning assignment design for history class, the arrangement for Chinese class speeches, and the introductory guidance from the economics teacher on the MB. The interdisciplinary teaching atmosphere of humanities and Chinese is palpable... Our child came home and shared the loving interactions and mutual support among classmates. Everything makes us eagerly anticipate more wonderful moments.
Once again, we sincerely thank the school for all its arrangements and efforts.
It means a lot, many thanks!
We wish OCAC continued success and hope that every teacher has a smooth and fulfilling work life, continuing to be the gentle and bright light in our children's lives.
Sincerely,
Parents of E
