8月3日晚，中超联赛第19轮京津对决，天津津门虎客场2-2战平北京国安。据《天津日报》报道，此役伤退的津门虎外援萨尔瓦多除鼻骨骨折，还有轻度脑震荡。
上半场第30分钟，津门虎队做出换人调整，萨尔瓦多因伤无法坚持，被郭皓替换下场。
该报道透露，被替换下场时，萨尔瓦多满脸是血，实际上当时他的鼻子也是肉眼可见地歪了，紧急送往医院确诊，除鼻骨骨折，他还有轻度脑震荡。
