The manager of the Yunye Tingyu Homestay in Zhejiang Province, told reporters that in the past two months, Chinese senior tourists accounted for 60% of their total guests. They also tend to choose off-peak times for their trips. A transformation in tourism consumption centered around “in-depth experiences and quality priority” among the “new silver-haired generation” is quietly taking place.
