北京时间3月26日，世界杯南美洲区预选赛小组赛第14轮，阿根廷4-1战胜巴西。赛后，在本场比赛中送出助攻的塔利亚菲科接受了采访。
在谈及拉菲尼亚的赛前言论时，塔利亚菲科表示：“拉菲尼亚在赛后向一些球员澄清了，他之前的言论因为被错误翻译而导致了争议。”
