在上周末与布莱顿的比赛中，首发出战的恩瓦内里打入一球为阿森纳取得领先，中场休息时被换下。
阿尔特塔在英联杯对阵纽卡的赛前新闻发布会上谈到恩瓦内里时表示：“不幸的是，他受伤了，将缺席几周。是肌肉伤病。”
本赛季至今，17岁的恩瓦内里代表阿森纳出场18次，5次首发，打入5球。
