财联社8月15日电，数据显示，上半年全球自然灾害保险损失达600亿美元左右，比过去10年平均水平高出62%。根据慕尼黑再保险的数据，2024年上半年，亚太和非洲地区自然灾害造成的总体损失为400亿美元。但由于长期存在较大的保险缺口，其中只有90亿美元得到了保险赔偿。总体损失和保险损失均高于过去十年的平均值（分别为290亿美元和41亿美元）。
