2024年8月9日，湖南省人民政府任免工作人员，其中，石元泉同志任湖南第一师范学院副院长（试用期一年）。
石元泉，汉族，1977年12月生于湖南溆浦，博士、教授，硕士研究生导师，此前任怀化学院计算机与人工智能学院（软件学院）院长
人物履历
2000年、2005年、2011年先后在湖南师范大学、国防科学技术大学、四川大学分别获得计算机科学与技术专业学士、硕士和博士学位。
2016年4月至2017年4月为澳大利亚阿德莱德大学计算机系访问学者。2018年8月至9月在美国波莫纳加州理工大学进行学术交流与访问
研究方向为网络安全技术及应用、智能信息系统。在International Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems、Journal of Computational Information Systems、Journal of Information & Computational Science等国内外知名刊物发表论文20余篇，其中被SCI收录2篇、被EI收录15篇。
现任湖南第一师范学院副院长。
