柳城畲族镇南城门，是武义县畲乡美镇的地标性建筑之一，承载着老一辈柳城人的历史记忆。自武义县开展“美丽城镇”创建工作以来，柳城畲族镇坚持“在保护中发展、在发展中保护”的思路，通过城门码头修缮保护、文物活化利用、周边绿植栽种等，以文促旅，让该地标焕发出了新的生机与活力。
