第八届战锤颅骨节宣布将于北京时间5月24日0:00回归，预计将重点公布《战锤40K：星际战士2》和《战锤40K：爆矢枪》的全新公告，而《战锤40K：行商浪人》、《全面战争：战锤》、《战锤40K：战术小队》、《战锤40K：Battlesector》、《战锤40K：暗潮》等游戏也将有新消息公布。
此外，与往届一样，战锤颅骨节期间，战锤系列游戏将在PlayStation、Xbox、Steam、Epic、GOG、Windows 10等平台提供大量折扣，新内容、DLC和免费更新也将同步上线。
