据央视新闻，6月26日15时55分，随着江西最后一个超警戒水文站点鄱阳湖标志性水文站星子站水位降至18.99米，退至19米警戒水位以下，江西各江河重点站均在警戒水位以下。6月19日以来，赣北、赣中、赣南普降大到暴雨，饶河、抚河、修河、赣江、信江“五河”入湖流量进一步增加，鄱阳湖水位一路快速攀升。
